Tupelo Honey Café

Tupelo Honey Café in Asheville is a local favorite.
Asheville residents and visitors alike love Tupelo Honey, a unique Southern eatery that may do the best of its kind in Buncombe County. Try the fried-green tomatoes, sweet-potato fries and candied-ginger cornbread. We also enjoyed their sweet-potato pancakes slathered with the namesake honey set on every table. We’ve heard the fried chicken and burgers are also respectable. For desert we had the banana pudding. It’s in the Battery Park area (near the Grove Arcade) so save some time for “walkin’ around” after your meal.
